Kind Home Solutions Cabinet Painting Process
Step 1: Prep
We will create an enclosed area where our team can work without any distractions or dangers outside their normal duties in order for them to get done as quickly possible so that no one is left waiting!
Step 2: Cleaning
Every project we will take apart and clean every door, drawer or box. It’s important to get any dirt off the surface area before moving onto step 3 so that your final product looks its best.
Step 3: Sanding
We’re giving all of the doors and drawers a light sand to make sure that they stick better after we paint them.
Step 4: Priming
We will do two coats of top-grade primer before we paint any surface. In between each application, light sanding and cleaning are done for that smooth finish you’re looking for.
Step 5: Painting
The first coat of our high-grade products will be applied to cabinets, and it’s specifically designed for this application. We typically use Sherwin Williams Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel.
Step 6: Reassemble & Clean-Up
Once the cabinets have dried and cured, we will reassemble them again with all of their hardware. After that’s done, any mess from our installation will be cleaned up so you can enjoy your new kitchen immediately.
